It has been quite a long time. Thank you patiently waiting. So, as I walked into Guruji’s (His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar) kutir at the Bangalore ashram I was excited (not surprising!) However, I always knew that I would see Him during my 3 week stay at the ashram. And Bau did take me to Him! When I entered the kutir, Guruji was meeting a few international delegates and we waited (basking in His glory ofcourse) for about 15 minutes. As soon as the international guys left He asked us to move forward and sit closer to Him, which we did without wasting a second! He gave each one of us a sweet. I got a ‘peda’ ( a sweet) and He asked me “How long are you here?” and I (idiotically) replied “Till 16th Guruji”. “He will keep coming and going Guruji” added Bau!
This was a post that was supposed to appear atleast a month back. So why did I delay it? It was yesterday that I realised the real meaning of His question. Okay. Confession. I am a person who keeps delaying things(eg. this post itself is a delayed one) thinking there is a tomorrow. I dream quite a lot. And now looking back I feel (know) that I wasted quite a lot of time doing nothing but planning and dreaming.
How long will you be on this planet? A few more decades? And every single day that you live will vanish like today. Life is short. Stop existing and Start Living. Wake up and see the beautiful world around you. See life in a larger perspective and do something that keeps you and the people around you happy!
