I’ve finally found some time to write a (really) small review about my eeepc. I didn’t look for too many reviews about the eeepc before I bought mine. (But I’m afraid you should given that there are many netbooks available) In fact, there weren’t many models to choose from. I got my buggie (that’s what I call my eeepc) for Rs. 19,000 about 6 months back. The only thing I wasn’t quite happy about initially was the crammed keyboard. It does take a while to get used to the keyboard layout.
Of course, the eee pc cannot be used for gaming or designing stuff. It is a handy ‘tool’ for managing docs, browsing the net and checking email while on the move. And it has a good battery life of 6 hours (with Wifi and sound enabled)
I would recommend this to anyone who requires a cheap and portable document management machine. Do read more about netbooks on http://urlme.in/edeC. In case you own a netbook do write a comment about what you use it for.
Configuration of the eeepc: Intel Atom N270 @ 1.6 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB hard disk, 10″ display, built in speakers and webcam. Running on Eeebuntu.
